The written word is a powerful form of communication, we are still learning about ancient cultures from the words and stories they wrote thousands of years ago.

So you want to make a film?  So you want it to make money?  I salute you!  Of course, the goal is to make the best possible film for the least possible amount of money.  That way you have more money to spend on marketing the film.  That could mean anything from more money for film festival entrance fees to giant billboards in Times Square.  Depends on your budget, right?  So...how do you do it?

Lionsgate are looking to save around $20 million a year by cutting 8% of their staff and they are cutting back on the amount of films they produce each year in a bid to save money – Dave McNary of Variety.com reports;
