Keep your own rhythm with Drum Up

Drum up, an unconventional happening changing the view of an ordinary day: Men nicely dressed, teenagers coming straight from high school benches, parents with kids, they were all present last week at Clubul Taranului(Bucharest, Romania) for a portion of Drum Up.

Drum Up is an original show, with not many words, mixing a lot of conventional and unconventional instruments of percussion from drums, darbouka, djembe, tambourine to noisy rubber toys, with elements of pantomime, step, drama, dance, stand-up and live music. Orlando Petriceanu, Adrian Nour and Mihai Axinte, three young Romanian actors are guilty for putting this spectacle on stage.
Proving that international collaboration really works, Drum Up team introduce Lu Cozma, an UK artist, who has just released online her third album.

By the end of the performance, Drum Up team gets bigger, the audience becomes part of the show, everybody’s drumming and singing on Queen’s music We Will Rock You “We’re gonna come again”.

So, if can be at Spice Club in Bucharest on 7th of April, if not you can contact Drum Up team and they can come to your city.
