A new service of podcasts advising UK photographers about their legal rights has been launched, BJP can reveal

A 49 year old amateur photographer was stopped and searched by the police for taking photographs at Letitia Dean turning on the Christmas lights in Ipswich. Tom Geoghegan from BBC magazine says: Misplaced fears about terror, privacy and child protection are preventing amateur photographers from enjoying their hobby, say campaigners.

Mannie Garcia has been identified as the photographer who produced the now iconic American image of Barack Obama. The image, taken at the National Press Club in 2006 of then junior Senator Barack Obama, was a part of work he was doing with the Associated Press.
