The British Journal of Photography (BJP) has news that could be useful for freelance photgraphers;
A new service of podcasts advising UK photographers about their legal rights has been launched, BJP can reveal
The podcasts are recorded every two weeks and are available freely on the PhotoLegal website. The first recording will be available for download from this week-end and will discuss copyright issues.
BJP's news editor Olivier Laurent will be the guest of PhotoLegal's second podcast, which will concentrate on public photography rights and the issues raised during the G20 protests earlier this month.
Kate Day, a journalist and photographer with The Telegraph, will guest two weeks later. She will offer advise on sharing images via social networking websites.
