The humble camera phone design has seen massive developments since the technologies conception in the early 90’s. As the megapixel count steadily rises on these handy devices, it would make sense that the quality of images would also increase. Darren Rowse of the Digital Photography School states;

Unfortunately many of the pictures being taken with Camera Phones are poor in quality.
